Appointed as inventive director of British rock band Kasabian, designing the artwork and international tour of their 4th album ‘Velociraptor!’. Makes music video directorial debut for Kasabian’s single ‘Switchblade Smiles’. Throup’s animated Television ad for ‘Velociraptor!’ wins ‘Best Music Ad’ on the UK Music Video Awards. Stone Island Clothes UK 2012 Broadcasts and previews his product line ‘New Object Research’ at London Collections: Males, hosted by style ambassadors Sarah Mower and Tim Blanks. Wins ‘XII Premi a la Moda Felicidad Duce’ from the Superior Style Faculty of Design in Barcelona. Begins the on-going ‘The Day by day Sketchbook Archives’. 2013 Presents the first complete ‘New Object Research’ line at London Collections: Males. Publishes the ‘New Object Research’ design manifesto. 2014 Appointed as artistic director for Damon Albarn’s debut solo album ‘Everyday Robots’, leading to designing and photographing the album and lead single artworks, as properly because the direction of the lead single’s video. Awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal School of Art. Designs the District 13 and Castor & Pollux fight uniforms for the Hollywood film ‘The Hunger Video games: Mockingjay Part 2′. Reveals the photographic sequence ‘The Rite of Spring’. 2016 Holds debut catwalk show for brand spanking new Object Analysis titled ‘The Rite of Spring / Summer / Autumn / Winter’ throughout London Collections: Men. Exhibits ‘The Rite of Spring / Summer / Autumn / Winter’ articulated sculptures and unique prototypes in Dover Road Market London. Designs the capsule collection G-Star Uncooked Research, launched during Paris Trend Week. 2017 Designs ‘G-Star Uncooked Analysis II’ which is presented at Palais de Tokyo during Paris Men’s Vogue Week. Relocates A.T. Studio to Amsterdam. Artwork directs Kasabian’s ‘For Crying Out Loud’ sixth studio album, and co-directs their single ‘Are You Looking for Action ’, taking pictures it in one steady take while streaming it stay worldwide concurrently.
